Where We've Been

• Started in 1976 with 12 charter members.
• Began in a small café located on the southeast corner of highways 49 & 469.
• 1978 purchased 3 acres of property on the south edge of town (437 South Church Street)
• A mobile chapel was moved onto the property while a 40 x 100 brick building was constructed by the members of the church.
• June 1994 -- The Hauser’s arrive from Omaha, Nebraska to pastor the Florence Church of God.
• July 2002 -- fourteen acres purchased on South Church street ¼ mile north of former location.
• July 2003 -- former property sold to City of Florence.
• August 18, 2004 -- Phase one (multi-purpose building & education Building) of the Florence Church of God expansion dedicated.
• September 2006 Name changes to Quest Community Church
